WhyThe site was initially launched with the intention of supporting unemployed art and photography workers. With the swift implementation of Covid-19 movement restrictions, many people who work in our fields have had their income cut off without recourse to traditional unemployment benefits and are feeling acute financial hardship.
We want to continue raising funds on this front and also support racial justice initiatives.
